Homemade Mobile Chicken Coop Video
One of the key benefit of having your own poultry is the fresh and delicious eggs that the hen produces. Do you know a healthy hen is capable of laying up to 5 eggs a week? Imagine if you have half a dozen of hens, the number of eggs produced will be more than enough for your household consumption.
Chickens are relatively small birds. They are constantly preyed on by cats, raccoons, hawks, large rats, dogs etc. One way of keeping them save is to build a chicken coop for them to live in. There are many kinds of chicken coop designs. One of the most practical one is a mobile chicken coop.
One of the main feature of a mobile chicken coops is…well its mobility. Because it is not fixed to the ground, you can move it from one location to another. Most mobile chicken ark would have an opened bottom. This will give the chicken free access to fresh grass to forage. They will get to eat insects and bugs on the ground. By moving the chicken coop, it will also give the grass some space to grow and recover after being trampled on.
