I've made one similar to that one before. I've also used old milk crates as well in the past. Now that I think about it I still have those old milk crates. I have more than enough materials to make a nest box at no cost but I want something just a little better this time. I just hope I can get back to breed of chickens I had before but I might have to start from scratch again since the chickens I had were mixed breed. I started out with Cochens and crossed them with Araucanas when I had a good cross I then crossed the offspring with Aseels. In the end, I had just what I wanted, a chicken with feathered feet that layed green eggs and were very protective when it came to their chicks. Thanx for sharing.
